Franché van den Berg

Hi! I'm Franché van den Berg, a Full-Stack Lead Senior Software Developer with experience in numerous areas of development and management.

I am a passionate and driven person and always seek to learn and improve upon myself. I completed my Bachelors Degree in Computing from Belgium campus back in 2014, and have accumulated over 8 Years of experience as a Software Developer.

What I Do

Full Stack

Understanding and handling the Full Software Development Life Cycle. I have experience all the way from client communications to delivering a project/solution. Architecting a solution, developing back-ends and front-ends, integrations, architecting databases, deploying solutions to on-premise infrastructure or to the cloud, handover of solutions with maintenance support, etc. I have accumulated experience on all these areas and more over the years.

Architecting

Defining the technology stack for a project or solution. Architecting a project/solution is something I have a lot of experience with. Deciding which technologies would fit a project, and then building the foundations for those projects has been my bread and butter so to speak.

Mentoring

Teaching, mentoring and skills transferring. Learning by teaching has always been something I love doing, I have managed teams small and large on multiple projects and have always made time and put effort into helping a fellow colleague. I pride myself in teaching and learning others, to help and grow an individual and a business. Leadership requires one to lead!

Project Management

Managing projects and teams. Making sure that a project is on track and within scope, while keeping the client happy is something I have quite a bit of experience with. Also making sure that the team is compatible and capable to deliver on the requirements. I have experience using scrum & agile methodologies to manage and control milestones and sprints for projects.

Client Communications

Managing client relations. Keeping clients informed and updated on the progress of their product or solution is something I have gained a lot of experience with. I believe treating your client as being part of the company is the defining factor for a successful relationship.

Technologies

Diverse technology stack and experience. I have build applications ranging from Java to Node to C#. My preferred choose of language is of course C#, with the movement to open source and the introduction to .Net 5, there has never been a better time to go all C#!
